EXPERIMENT

For main topic: The extreme weather as a cause of the war

- Set the period : We set a major survey period in the 1500s to 1800s, when meteorite collisions that is the cause of global cooling frequently occurred. We are going to look at the effects of the cold weather from the impact of the meteorite collision on various parts of the world.

- Set the location : We look at Europe, where the damage from the little ice age was the most severe, and East Asia, where our country is part of.

- Set the hypothesis : The climate change caused by the effects of the ‘Little ice age’ may have contributed to the wars around the world.'

- Set the materials : Since meteorological observation techniques were not developed significantly, accurate weather data such as temperature and air pressure at the time do not exist. Therefore, we collect and analyze climate information at the time of the war by referring to historical data and papers.

Supplement: The extreme weather as a tactic of the war

- Set the period : Countries that realized the importance of weather forecasting in times of war during World War I have developed numerical weather forecasting techniques. As a result, the ability to predict the weather development of days ago has increased since 1930 to 1950. This advanced technology was used in World War II. We will set the time for World War II, which actively uses numerical weather forecasts, to look at the cases in which use weather as a strategy.

- Set the hypothesis : The weather played an important role in World War II

- Set the materials : Based on various historical data, we investigate and analyze the context of the war in which weather data were considered important during the various wars that occurred during World War II.
